ToggleInternational Women’s Day: Every Woman Must Do This
If we think about daily life, we have to face some kind of crisis everywhere. Sometimes, those crises are very simple, while at other times, we have to cross a mountain of hurdles. In such situations, patience is the most important virtue, and even more important is self-control.
Now, if we compare, women have more courage, more endurance, and greater mental strength than men. However, in the modern era, these qualities are changing. Women are not paying enough attention to their health. They are financially independent, but not in terms of health.
When we consider physical, mental, and emotional well-being, we realize that women today struggle to maintain a balance between them. This is why, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, every woman should take some important steps for her well-being.
1) Becoming Physically Strong
You might say, “We do so much work daily. Doesn’t that already mean we are physically strong?”
Yes, you do a lot of work. You wake up the earliest in the morning and go to bed the latest at night.
But while doing all this work, do you pay attention to what you eat, what you drink, and how much you consume?
Also, do you notice when and where you feel pain? Probably not. Most of the time, you just focus on completing your tasks, ignoring your body’s signals.
When you work, do you use both sides of your body equally?
For example, when you sweep the floor or clean the yard, do you use both hands equally?
To be physically strong, you need to exercise. Exercise ensures balanced movement on both sides of the body, strengthens muscles, and increases bone density. This keeps your bones strong and reduces the risk of injuries.
Maintaining balance between the right and left sides of the body is crucial to achieving physical strength.
2) Becoming Mentally Strong
As we mentioned earlier, women are mentally stronger than men. They are courageous and resilient. However, there are certain things that women should consciously adopt:
- Self-awareness: Recognizing your own thoughts, emotions, and motivations is crucial. Instead of staying stuck in difficulties, one should find ways to overcome them.
- Setting boundaries: Do not give your opinion unless asked. But when you do, express it with confidence, without being influenced by others.
- Avoiding gossip and unnecessary discussions.
- Developing stress-management skills.
- Focusing on self-confidence and gratitude.
To achieve this, first, you need to know who you truly are.
Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar says, “To understand who we are, we must first recognize who we are not.” Meditation helps us in this journey of self-discovery.
If you want to learn meditation, I highly recommend learning the Sudarshan Kriya. It has countless benefits.
Often, people try to disturb us just because we appear calm and content. In such times, stability is essential, and Sudarshan Kriya helps in achieving that stability.
3) Becoming Emotionally Strong
Every person on this planet has emotions. However, women have a vast ocean of emotions within them. It is crucial to understand when to keep these emotions calm and when to let them flow freely. Maintaining a balance between these two is key.
In life, there are times when we need to express different emotions. Knowing when and how much emotion to express is an essential skill. Once you master this, handling life becomes much easier.
And once again, I strongly recommend learning Sudarshan Kriya. From a mental and emotional perspective, this practice is necessary for everyone, as it helps bring stability into life.
In Conclusion
I sincerely urge every woman to remember that she is a source of energy and strength. If a woman becomes physically, mentally, and emotionally strong, no other force on earth can be more powerful than her.
